Drummer since I have memory , hearted musician, dedicated to the knowledge of new rythms and musical culture, finding the richness of my soul and mind in the process. I am fortunate to have GOD in my life, the support of my family and friends , and the inspiration of the big muse .. Music!.

BIO

Drummer /Composer/ Producer

Born May 21st 1983, José began to play drums at the age of 10 with his father and 6 years after he start to take private lessons at B.E.A.T. Academy with Eddie Mejía , soon he attended university with a scholarship where he studied music and music production in I.M.C. (Berklee´s College of Music extension in Ecuador) at USFQ, then he was elected to play in the Main Jazz student band called ¨Fabrica Jazz¨ graduating with a (B.A.) bachelor degree in contemporary music .

At that moment he was involved with different kind of bands developing a versatil style of playing, going from Timba cubana, Brazilian, Jazz, to Progressive Rock and Metal playing whit renowned bands and musicians in all country like Hittar Cuesta, Salomón Jimenez, Dick Saltzman, Fausto Miño, etc

Actually He is DW (Drum Workshop) International Artist, been the youngest drummer in south América and the only one in Ecuador with this honor, Drummer and founder in ROCKVOX

GUNS N ROSES, AEROSMITH, JUANES, ALEX SINTEK, JOAQUIN SABINA, MODERATO, VELANOVA, ANDRES CEPEDA, etc.
